Royal Parks Half Marathon 2012

On Sunday 7 October 2012, 36 runners took part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon ( in central London to raise funds for JHHHT. Many many thanks to everyone.

We had a place in the Charity Exhibition Marquee this year which worked really well as a meeting point for runners and supporters.

The event raised over £22,200 (including gift aid), which is an outstanding effort by all.

Charity Football Match – Balcombe FC v Lancing Old Boys FC 2012

The third Balcombe FC v Lancing Old Boys FC Charity Shield Football match was a great success and managed to raise just over £800 for JHHHT. The match finished a draw, 2 v 2.

JHHHT Golf Day 2012

On Friday 17 August 2012, the third Joshua Hayday Helping Hand Trust Golf Day took place at the stunning Worplesdon Golf Club near Woking ( It was a great day.

14 teams took part in the Team Stableford Competition.

Staplefield Book Exchange 2012

Sue Middle and Liz Kenward organised their third book exchange coffee morning on 22 June 2012. The cakes were delicious again, chocolate brownies, carrot cake, Viennese whirls, lemon drizzle and flapjacks. Several people asked to be invited again next year and to bring more friends.
